World-class Service
Nationwide handles claims fairly and efficiently. They don't hide information, obfuscate, or try to scam you. Nationwide isn't just a great solution for pet insurance, it is one of the best customer service providers that I've ever experienced.

Constantly amazed at how quickly and painlessly claims are handled.
Nationwide was offered through my husband's employer, but I did research of other providers before we signed up. Highest ratings, good rates and everything has been handled quickly and seamlessly. Really appreciate the service!

Great insurance for pets, turnover of a claim is excellent
We have had this insurance on all 3 of our dogs, sadly 2 have passed on, but the response time for claims is excellent. You can go on line into your account and find all the information on your pet and the status of your claim. Keep up the good work. We have even referred others to this insurance company and the feedback we get is they are just as happy as we are..

Payout Limits

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
