Great Refund

I was really happy with the amount I got back from my claims. The only reason I did not rate a 10/10 was that there is no other option than to pay the full price up front at the time of the emergency.

Coverage couldn't have come at a better time for my girl Shai

The cost was so expensive, but I did it without hesitation because I knew that my insurance would cover some of the cost. They covered it all, after the very small deductible that I paid. The peace of mind that it gave me to be able to get the tests and treatment was priceless. Thank you

Made the right choice!

I decided to invest in pet insurance for my dog a couple of years ago and has really paid off. I had to take my dog to the Emergency Vet a few weeks ago because of complications, I submitted my claim the next day and my refund was deposited less than 30 days later. It's a great peace of mind as our pets get older, they are like family and should get the best care they can and having pet insurance makes it more affordable.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
