This is our 4th Sheep dog and the first one we have had pet insurance on and it is well worth the cost.

Siamese Bluepoint is "in the pink" thanks to his Vet and Nationwide Pet Insurance.
Marco, our normally healthy cat, moaned when he tried to jump onto a table. He moaned when I combed him and he moaned when he used the litter box. The Vet saw him that day and did extensive testing: exam, x-rays, lab work, etc. X-rays showed two mineralized (fused) discs in his spine. He was given an injection & sent home with 3 pills to be used for 3 nights. He was also given Dasuquin to be sprinkled on his dry food. Marco rested for a few days. I fed him with a dropper. My husband and I noticed he was walking with his tail dragging. Our other cat groomed him. After a few days, he was able to eat and use the litter box. He started to run again. He can jump and run and play and do everything he used to do. His tail is up. Having Nationwide Insurance enabled us to allow the Vet to discover the reason for Marco's pain.

Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
