Extremely pleased with my new Nationwide policy

I’m so glad I got this policy, I have never had a pet insurance policy before and I definitely chose the right company. great customer service, great website, great app and they stepped right up to the plate with coverage the first accident with my dog.

A must have for all pet owners

Having this insurance has been a life - saver. Our puppy is a bit stubborn and has gotten into some trouble in his 1st year with us. Thankfully, the insurance has helped us w subsidize most of the vet costs, including a major surgery. It would've been much more of a hardship without it.

Best purchase I've ever made!

Purchasing Whole Pet with Wellness from Nationwide has been the best purchase I have EVER made. Having this insurance for my active dog Morrison has allowed me to give Morrison the care that he needed after we discovered he had a bilateral elbow dysplasia that needed correcting. The surgery would have been out of the question without this insurance, but with the help of Nationwide I was able to get Morrison the surgery and all of the recommended steps in recovery. He is on his way back to being a happy active dog!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
