Love the support, wish the claim cleared faster!

Having this Nationwide policy has been a true life-saver! We expectantly had two major issues with our Abbe and having this support took the worry out of the experience (wondering how I would pay for the issues). I would however, like to see the claims be processed more quickly. It is difficult to wait for the return to then pay off the credit card this was charged to. I am finding that I am getting finance fees because the check isn't processed more quickly.

Great company and super great staff.

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been a great thing for us with our new puppy. We purchased the plan that covers wellness checks also. Claims have been easy to submit with a quick turnaround time for reimbursements. The staff is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this insurance to anyone that has pets. It has saved us quite a bit of money.

Thank goodness for Nationwide!

I am very glad someone recommended that i get pet insurance from Nationwide. It has been a great investment and really given me comfort to know i have insurance should anything happen to my dog. Nationwide is friendly, organized, has a quick turnaround and a great website to check on pending bills. I am pleasantly surprised.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
