Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

We got Nationwide on a recommendation from the vet tech and other English Bulldog owners. We have been extremely happy that we did. Our little guy has had some eye issues and the insurance has helped tremendously. The claims process is so easy and the response/pay out is quick. Thanks, Nationwide, for making a stressful situation a little easier for our family!

I called this morning to try to better understand what type of coverage I will have should I proceed with a treatment for my cat (Hyperthyroidism). When I specifically inquired about the I-131 treatment, the ph representative could not confirm or deny the coverage, kept misunderstanding my questions, and only when she did (after I explained several times), she yet again would not say what type of plan or reimbursement I will be receiving. As a customer, how can I decide what level of financial responsibility I am willing to incur if no clarity is given about coverage? I was not asking to have a claim pre-approved, all I was asking was for a better understanding of my plan. This experience has truly given me the desire to cancel it altogether!

Nationwide has been great with everything that has been going on with my sick dog. They pay in a timely manner and are very helpful if you need to speak with someone.

You’re service has been excellent for my dog and you process all paperwork in a timely manner. It could be faster but it’s always done.

I'm sick of paying these premiums with very little reimbursement.
