Simply the best, most versatile coverage you can get for your pet.

I shopped around and when it came down to claims covered and cost, Nationwide is the best choice. My dog, Guinness has everything from wellness visits to prescriptions covered at 90% reimbursement. The claim process could not be easier. I use the cell phone app and within 30 days the reimbursement is deposited directly into my account. I have recommended Nationwide to several other pet owners. I am completely satisfied. Lastly, I would never want my pal to get sick but knowing I have such amazing coverage makes the thought easier to handle. Thank you!! Mike and Guinness

There when needed for my pup

A good investment. The insurance saves me money and I don't even think about it when I have to take Jacobi to the vet. It's good to know I have this protection for him. Service has been great.

Love Nationwide

I love having nationwide for my puppy. I have a teacup puppy and you never know when an accident could happen with them being so tiny. Every time I have called to speak with someone if I had a question everyone was so helpful and went above and beyond with little or no wait time. I feel like my pet has a better insurance plan than me lol. The only complaint I have is if you submit a claim and if for some reason it is blurry on nationwides end or if they need additional information they don’t contact you or let you know, you have to contact them. Besides that nationwide RULES!

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
