Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

VPI/Nationwide pet insurance is truly a Godsend. We have had their services on both our German Shepherd and black Lab for approximately 5 years now and while our Lab has been healthy (knock on wood), our Shepherd has not. Pet insurance has taken the financial stress off of us so all we have to worry about is getting our fur baby the medical help he needs when the need arises. Nearly every time he has had an injury/illness, Nationwide has been there to reimburse us the majority, if not all, of the cost of his treatment. I will never own another pet without insurance and tell all of my family and friends about Nationwide. I have also had at least four people sign their pets up after telling them about my experience. Thank you Nationwide for all that you do for our family!

I was very impressed with the ease of submitting my claim and also the payment. They were clear with me in regard to what/wasn't covered and very fair. I was skeptical in buying pet insurance but wanted to protect myself to some extent in case something happens. I think this insurance works as intended and I'm very happy with how they've addressed my claims so far.

Nakita has had a few symptoms over the fall that might have been troubling. Mostly, lameness in her right front foot. My wonderful vet, heal, was very thorough in getting to the root of this. It turned out to be a foreign body embedded in one of her toes. She also had a skin inflammation and needed to be checked for ringworm . It was negative , and cleared up with some steroidal cream. Today, she is a sweet, silly girl. I am very grateful for my Nationwide Insurance, which allows me to take the best possible care of the dog I love.

Very easy to submit claims, processed fast, very helpful customer service

The insurance policy I have on Mosconi is beginning to show some headway. Gladly, she didn't have many claims this year so it wasn't until late that I really saw the help the policy offers. Great job!
