When it comes to insurance…

When it comes to insurance, there’s so many companies it’s always somewhat nerve-racking to put your trust into a company and wonder if they’re really going to pay if something comes up. I am really pleased to report that several things have come up with two of my dogs, and they have made the process easy to submit and they’ve paid on every claim I’ve put in. It’s been a pleasant surprise at how easy it has been and I’m very thankful as one of my pets has had surgery and appointments with specialist that has cost thousands of dollars. I am a teacher and there’s no way I could afford that without the insurance. Thank you so much Fetch!

I love Fetch!

Fetch is great! I think my premium payments are a very reasonable price for my cats, and my overall plan (deductible, max coverage, reimbursement rate) is great! Once I met the deductible ($250), I get reimbursed NINETY percent! That’s amazing!! It’s also very easy to submit a claim and doesn’t take long to reimbursed. Plus you get updates from Fetch frequently.

I was shorted reimbursement on a recent…

Edit: A couple days after this review was posted, the situation was resolved and the money was sent to me. I have added more stars to reflect this. Original review: I was shorted reimbursement on a recent claim. I did chat with customer service who confirmed that I should’ve been paid more, and I have the screenshots as proof. He then told me he would forward it on to an adjuster to fix and told me to wait 30 more days for it to be fixed. It has been over 30 days and I have not seen that money nor have I gotten any correspondence from customer service. That is theft, no matter the amount.

Scam avoid this rip off.

You cannot email Fetch. The live chat does not function when you get an agent. They have multiple phone numbers but you cannot get results. They took over my previous pet insurance without proper notification. They have a multi page policy that allows then to reject all claims. Trying to cancel is ridiculously difficult.

Rejected valid claim after paying for a year

Paid for insurance for a year, tried to file a claim when our cat broke his paw, which was an extremely lengthy process and then was denied because they deemed our initial vet examination was not valid because it was done at the humane society, and therefore did not have to pay out for his bills. The whole experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth, why pay for insurance if you cant use it. We are dropping them and looking for a new provider.

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
