ASPCA | Pet Insurance Review

When your best friend has been running a high temperature for two months, even though he's been on 3 antibiotics concurrently, and after many tests the specialist says, "haven't seen anything like this," you are crazy with stress. Living in NYC, you know your medical bills are higher than the national average, so the costs will be astronomical. Many different blood tests and ultrasounds, an Xray, and finally sedation for a CT scan and surgery are the path you and your pet travel. However, during the two months I'm getting mail from the ASPCA: an explanation of benefits AND a check attached. The mail and the checks keep coming. I cannot put a price on what my dog means to me, but I'm retired and the expense is a concern. ASPCA is helping to ease my stress by assisting with his medical costs. Because there are so many bills, I expect to get a call from the ASPCA -- and I do. Someone leaves me a voicemail to tell me that the invoice for the surgery has been processed and the check is on its way. They hope my dog is doing okay. I am so thankful that I selected ASPCA Pet Insurance years ago. It may have been one of the best decisions I ever made for my pet.

Shelly's call today to check up on how my 13+ cat Cinderfella was doing and if I had any questions or comments was quite unexpected and appreciated. Fortunately, so far Cinder has only required "wellness" checks. When I mentioned that I was concerned about how to cover high vet costs, Shelly offered sound suggestions . Can't say enough about the fantastic customer service. From my first inquiry about the insurance, with phone calls and emails everything was a pleasant experience. My two claims were paid in a very short time, that was great because I've had trouble with claim payments with another company. I am very pleased with ASPCA for all they do. Big Thanks!!

My Cat, Miss Malcolm, has just turned 20 years old and we have been with ASPCA since she was a kitten. She has been pretty healthy till this past year so until now we haven't had much need for Vet Visits but when we did see our Vet, this insurance was on top of everything immediately. As of October, Miss. Malcolm's little kidney's began to fail. I have been giving here fluids 2 times a week since. I order her prescription supplies and then submit bills to ASPCA with there very simple on line billing. Within about a week I receive a check. It is so simple. It is great dealing with there staff by phone or chats on line. They are kind, concerned and always follow up if needed. I wish ASPCA insured people because I would certainly have them instead of my carrier taking care of me. Valerie
