How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Brandywine Valley Veterinary Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The sincere love and care that the Brandywine Valley Vet team has for their furry clients is refreshing. After trying several vets with my animals, I finally found a practice filled with an understanding and patient team that truly puts the animals first! Dog, cat, and bunny approved!!!

It took me a little while to do this as I just had to say goodbye to my friend Mollie. She was almost 17 years old, and I found Brandywine Valley a couple of years ago when I moved to the area. I think I have met all the vets and staff as well as grooming staff. It has been an outstanding partnership and their warmth and caring is evident in every visit. They communicate well, directly and focus on you and your pet. They answer questions via email or call and always call when they say they will. There is no upsell and their prices are reasonable. As difficult as it was to say goodbye, they made the experience for both Mollie and I peaceful, loving, and stress-free. They sent me beautiful flowers and a card signed by staff, which was quite a surprise. I highly recommend and will be bringing my next dog there.

Not only is everyone super nice, but they have their own cat side. Cats are already scared enough going to the vet having them separate the dogs help them. Also they were so much cheaper than other Priced vets in my area. It’s right up the street from my house and now that we’re members will never switch. This place is amazing. Thank you for everything you do guys.

I have been going to Brandywine Valley Veterinary Hospital for many years. I cannot stress enough how much I love and trust everyone there. My 4 border collies absolutely adore, Dr Mooney. She treats them as her own. Her bedside manner is amazing. She it is great at explaining everything to me. She takes good care of my babies and makes sure they're healthy. She is always so very conscious of my budget keeping up with 4. I am so very grateful for her. Leslie, Missy and all of the staff there are always so willing to help and keep me strait. A huge thanks to everyone there! If you are thinking about taking your pet there don't hesitate. You and your pet will be in good hands!

Took my dog, Moose for a pre-op appointment for a eye cyst removal, tooth extraction and neuter. Pre-op blood work was done and surgery was scheduled. Everyone in the office were great! Kind and professional. They were so loving towards Moose, and made me feel confident in getting the surgery done at this animal hospital. THANK YOU
