How to Save on Veterinary Costs at TCCare Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I’m so impressed with Dr. Adams, Alicia, and the TCCare staff! They are truly the best of the best. Dr. Adams is helpful, responsive, and cares about my dog and her health. Super happy to have this clinic as our new vet!

Dr. Adams is great with our two dogs. We have followed him across previous clinics, glad he now has his own clinic! Highly recommend TCCare and Dr. Adams.

I took my grand-puppy/office dog Happy in for his first visit with Dr. Adams for my son. Our family were long time Hopkins Pet Hospital clients with a total of six various family member dogs seen by them over the decades. As a chocolate lab Happy struggles with allergies and ear infections. Dr. Adams was great! In addition to getting Happy’s vaccinations up-to-date Dr. Adams suggested a treatment plan to get ahead of Happy’s fall allergies as well. Welcome to the neighborhood Dr. Adams and TCCare.

So impressed with TCCare! After years of loyalty to Dr. Spong and the original Hopkins Pet Hospital, I was nervous about their transition to new ownership, but wow Dr. Adams and his staff were so wonderful and spent so much time talking with me about my beloved senior Cavalier King Charles! Highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had Dr. Adams and his wife come out to our small pasture-based farm (The Wildbird Farm in Grant, MN) for a flock visit, and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. From start to finish, they were both incredibly thorough and professional. Dr. Adams took his time going through our entire flock, addressed every concern we raised, and gave us honest, practical feedback on their living situation and things to watch for going forward. It never felt rushed — he genuinely listened and made sure every question was answered. Having access to a vet who truly understands poultry and is willing to come to the farm is something we didn't know we needed until tonight. If you have a backyard flock or small farm operation and want a vet who actually cares, look no further. Highly recommend TCCare!
