I took my doggie to another Vet and they dismissed my concerns several times. I finally took her to Hawthorne and the first thing they did was anal gland expression which was infected and painful for her to poop. then she had severe bladder infection.

The staff are so caring and really put the health and emotional well-being of the animals and humans first. They took my Lulu in and did everything they could to save her after she was viciously attacked by two large dogs that came onto our property.

They were there when I really needed them! My 4 month old border collie got attacked and I was able to get help within the hour. They were awesome and patient, I'm extremely appreciative!

I adopted a new kitty from the shelter. They do not provide rabies shots any longer but they will give you a $50 voucher to have your veterinarian do it. This is the only place who would NOT respond to the shelter to accept the voucher.

We were traveling from out of town, and my older Shih tzu, who was gasping for breath and has heart conditions, needed emergency treatment/diagnostics. I called during regular businiss hours. They could not bother to squeeze her in, on an emergency basis, because we werent regular clients. Shame on you, for turning down a suffering animal.
