I brought my ill cat to Paws and Claws because I couldn't get him in with our regular vet same day. I felt that staff for the most part were caring and empathetic. They were gentle and thorough. I left without answers which I cannot fault them for but would have expected, due to his condition and the potential need for emergency services over the weekend that I would have been given records of testing that they had done while he was in the office but wasn't offered anything. What was most upsetting was the price I paid for the services he received. When I took him back to our regular vet the x rays were literally half the price I paid at Paws & Claws and was taken to the x rays room and shown the results which I didn't get at Paws & Claws. Overall it wasn't a great experience and ended up losing my pet. I'm glad he was in good hands at his regular vet for the procedure that likely would have cost me double at Paws and Claws.

Very pricey to start out with. I came here with my cat for a routine visit. I sat in the parking lot for 30 minutes waiting for my cat to be taken inside since it’s only curbside. I was one of two cars in the parking lot and had an appointment. I mainly came here to get a recommendation on what I can use to calm down my cat for traveling on the airplane. They ended up charged me $70 for things that I couldn’t even use on the plane because they weren’t safe. I don’t know why they couldn’t have just said that in the beginning. Got the impression that they were trying to get money out of me. I don’t know if it’s common to charge for nail trimming but my old vet would do it free of charge. My cat was not happy about being at the vet, which can be normal, but I’ve never had a problem with him before with his previous vet. They ended up concluding that they would have to sedate him to just get his blood drawn. I’ve had cats my entire life and have had cats not enjoy the vet trips, but I’ve never had a veterinarian recommend sedating my cat to get a blood drawn. Not to mention it was another $100+. I know cats can act up but I don’t think sedating should the option in my opinion. But again I didn’t have a problem with him at my previous vet. Either way I just wouldn’t recommend this place.

Dr. Bolduc and admin staff, Brittany, went above and beyond to make sure our sweet baby boy was well taken care of. They put my husband and I’s minds at ease with their professionalism and kind-hearted approach. Our dog is a rescue and is very uncomfortable with strangers (people in general) and they made his visit easy and virtually stress-free for us all. Our dog is in good hands here - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
