How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Eustis Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

My 9 year old female dog got pyometra over July 4th weekend. Everyone else was booked for the week. They took her in that Monday and made her comfortable till surgery the next morning. Everything went wonderful and everyone was very pleasant. Thank you so much!!!

About three years ago I took my beloved black cat Marnie to this vet. She was VERY ill at the time and no other vet seemed willing to take her. These folks did. Three years later, I feel it is finally time to fully acknowledge the absolute miracle these guys performed on her. Not only did they save Marnie's life, but she is a happy, thriving, and healthy cat to this day. For this, I would give FAR more than five stars if I could. I just want to say THANKS from the bottom of my heart for their obviously expert care. Do not hesitate to call this vet in the event of a pet emergency. They are so worth it. I thank them and Marnie does too.

We have been using Eustis Vet for several years now for our older beagle-basset. We just went through the end of life process and I am so grateful for their information ahead of time and assurances it would never be a easy decision but it would be a painless procedure. It was. They were so compassionate with Dave the Dog and us. It was a peaceful goodbye. Thank you to the doctors and team that took good care of Dave and us.

My 21 year old cat had a stroke and we brought him in 3 weeks ago. I literally can't say enough good things about this office!! I thought my baby was going die and 3 weeks later he is just about back to normal!! Thank you so much for helping my baby boy and being so nice to me, as I was a hot mess balling my eyes out every time I brought him in!!!

Always great care for our pets. Even the spicy one. The Drs are knowledgeable, thorough, and nice. The kennel staff is the best I've ever experienced.
