When we initially brought Cody to the emergency hospital we were very grateful for Dr. Parra’s care. He was knowledgeable, compassionate, and provided a treatment plan that gave us hope and direction. Unfortunately, our experience during Cody's final visit was much different. When I called to check on him that morning, I was already extremely worried. The intern veterinarian, Dr Fueling, who spoke with me came across as abrupt and lacking compassion during a very difficult conversation. I was told Cody needed to be picked up, he doesn’t like it here but there was little sensitivity to what we were going through as his family. I heard him crying on the phone. She confirmed it was him and reiterated he needs to be picked up. I gave them time to fill out their paperwork and discharge before coming. When we arrived, we waited approximately an hour before Cody was brought out. He appeared heavily sedated and not like himself. Seeing him in that condition was heartbreaking and left us with many questions and concerns. He seemed over medicated. Maybe because he didn’t like the small confinement or gave them a hard time?? I would have picked him up that night if I knew this was the case! As pet owners facing the possible loss of a beloved family member, we needed clear communication, empathy, and support. We picked up our beloved boy Thursday afternoon from his overnight stay…Cody passed away on Friday morning. While I remain thankful for the care and guidance Dr. Parra and Dr Booth provided, I feel it is important to share that our final experience did not reflect the same level of compassion. I hope this feedback helps improve communication and support for families facing the loss of a cherished pet.

Absolutely fantastic facility and staff. Everyone I dealt with from the front desk, Amy, to the technician Sara, and Dr. Tucker was incredibly kind and helpful to me and my dog who was having internal bleeding. In addition to getting my sweet dog better, I am so thankful they're open 24 hours 7 days a week . While I was there I saw a female staff member come outside and pick up a huge Golden Retriever who had a violent seizure before getting in the door. I feel their staff was very caring, detailed and professional.

My visit was an emergency visit to further determine the cause of my beloved Ralphie, a 14 year old corgi level of a deceased spleen. The high level of support and compassion exceeded my expectations. They’re honest and straightforward. I highly recommend this facility.

"Thank you" doesn't begin to express the immense gratitude we feel for the outstanding care our elderly terrier received at your facility last week. Upon arrival, we immediately felt at ease in an environment of caring and compassion, patience and understanding, and above all, medical expertise. Throughout our dog's two-day hospitalization, we were kept apprised of every test and treatment, and we received regular progress reports. We're delighted to report that our Tessa continues healing here at home. We now take comfort in knowing that if we have a question or need some help, even now in the post-discharge period, your veterinary and support staff are available to us on a 24/7 basis. You are a gift to all the animals you serve - and to those of us who love those animals as valued family members. Our very warmest thanks.
