Took my newly rescued dog to my husband's vet, Woodland Animal Hospital, upon his recommendation...the vet, Dr Alex is outstanding, kind and compassionate...patiently answered all my questions and he was SOOO great with my newly acquired rescue dog Rikki... the entire staff is truly great, knowledgable, helpful and VERY friendly. They've treated me kindly, as well as Rikki. The vet and staff is new to me but I like all of them and what they're doing to treat my dog. I highly recommend Woodland Animal Hospital.

Everyone there was just so nice and helpful. Our vet tech was amazing and answered all of my questions and concerns. The vet Dr. Alex is amazing. He sat down and took the time to explain everything about my dog and her breed! Informed me of all the issues that her breed has. He was so sweet with my girl. Advised that we are doing everything right for her. He made us feel relaxed and confident that our baby is in great hands. The best Vet I have ever met!

So thankful for the staff, techs and vets. They were amazingly kind. They put me at ease and helped me immensely while there. I had to say goodbye to my girl and they really made me feel better during the process. Highly recommend and I will be switching to them for my vet needs going forward.

I absolutely love Woodland Animal Clinic and will not go anywhere else. If you don’t fully trust your current vet, I highly recommend giving them a try. There was one occasion where I was frustrated due to a long wait because I needed to get back to the office, and I didn’t handle it as gracefully as I should have. Once I expressed my concerns, the staff was prompt, understanding, and incredibly kind. I later apologized to everyone, and they were nothing but forgiving. That experience is exactly why I remain loyal to Woodland Animal Clinic. They treat me and my animals like family, and that means everything.

I recently made the switch to Woodland Animal Clinic in DeLand, and I am so glad I did. I was previously at another clinic where the staff simply didn’t have the patience my golden doodle puppy needed. As any doodle owner knows — they are sweet, energetic, and still learning! From the moment we walked into Woodland, the difference was clear. The office was extremely clean and well organized, which immediately put me at ease. The veterinarians and vet techs were incredibly patient, gentle, and kind with my sweet boy. They took their time, explained everything thoroughly, and never made us feel rushed. Even the front desk staff were phenomenal. They were warm, welcoming, and interacted with my pup in the sweetest way — at one point they even let him “stand up and place his cheeseburger order” at the counter (okay, not really 😄, but that’s how comfortable and adored he felt!). It’s such a relief to find a clinic where both pets and owners feel respected and cared for. I highly recommend Woodland Animal Clinic to anyone looking for compassionate, patient veterinary care.
