If you’re reading this, you’re probably doing exactly what I did—trying to decide whether Animal Eye Guys is the right place for your pet. The answer is an easy yes. My experience started with a phone call to schedule an initial consultation, and that’s where I met Jennifer. Simply put, she is an absolute rockstar. Before we had even stepped foot into the clinic, she had already earned my trust. She is incredibly knowledgeable, organized, compassionate, and proactive. She patiently answered every question I had, coordinated with my primary veterinarian to obtain Morning’s medical records, explained what to expect, and made the entire process feel effortless. As a worried pet parent, having someone like Jennifer on the other end of the phone made all the difference. She set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional experience from start to finish. I brought my dog, Morning, in for a mass that had developed on his lower eyelid. Like many pet parents, I was nervous about the idea of surgery and anesthesia. The thought of anything happening to him was overwhelming. From the moment we walked through the door, Mike greeted us with a warm smile and immediately made us feel welcome. Every member of the team we encountered was genuinely kind, friendly, and compassionate. It’s clear that exceptional patient care isn’t just something they strive for—it’s part of the culture they’ve built at Animal Eye Guys. Meeting Dr. Richard Diaz and Steph only reinforced that feeling. They were compassionate, professional, and completely transparent about the diagnosis, the procedure, and what to expect during recovery. They never rushed us, took the time to answer every question, and gave us complete confidence that Morning was in the very best hands. The procedure itself went exactly as explained. The check-in process was seamless, communication throughout the day was excellent, and the team followed up exactly as promised. What amazed me most was Morning’s recovery. Less than 48 hours after surgery, you could hardly tell he had undergone a procedure. He was back to his happy, playful self almost immediately. I cannot thank the entire team at Animal Eye Guys enough for the exceptional care they provided—not only to Morning, but to me as well. Their kindness, compassion, and expertise turned what could have been a stressful experience into one that gave us complete peace of mind. I hope Morning never needs another eye procedure, but if he ever does, there isn’t another team I’d trust more. Thank you, Animal Eye Guys, for treating him like one of your own. P.S. I don’t often leave reviews, but I can’t say enough about the amazing team at Animal Eye Guys of Coral Springs. My senior dog, Bear, had an eye ulcer that was painful and tricky to treat. Dr. Diaz did a wonderful job explaining the situation to us and treating him with the utmost precision, presence, and care. I want to thank all of the staff, from Mike and Jen at the front desk (who are great at their jobs and go above and beyond to make a tough circumstance easier) to the technicians who truly cared about Bear as if he was their own and made our anxious baby feel comfortable. I have seen other vets, ERs, and even other Animal Eye Guys locations throughout this process, but this team was truly exceptional. If your pet is dealing with an eye issue, and you are concerned about where to turn or what to do, turn to them if you have the means. You will not regret it, and they are worth every single cent. To say thank you to all of you is not enough!! ♥️ Bear is doing great.

I’ve been bringing my pet Pumpkin here for about a year now after she developed an eye issue that was beyond what her regular vet could handle. From day one, the experience has been amazing. The ladies at the front desk are so kind and welcoming. They always greet my corgis with so much love every time we walk in. Whenever I call to schedule an appointment, they’re incredibly accommodating with my busy schedule, which I really appreciate. The technicians are so patient and gentle with my baby, even though she can be a little wild sometimes. And Dr. Amy Baker is truly wonderful. She always takes the time to answer all of my probably ridiculous questions and explains Pumpkin’s care plan in a way that’s clear and easy to understand. Thank you all so much for everything you do for my girl. It means more than you know.

I had an amazing experience with Animal Eye Guys in Coral Springs. I was referred by my primary veterinarian, Dr. Bruce Sullivan, to see Dr. Diaz for one of my dogs who was having a problem with her left eye — and I truly could not be happier with the care we received. From the very beginning, the experience was outstanding. Their team responded to my email almost immediately and encouraged me to call so they could help speed up the appointment process. The person who answered the phone was incredibly kind, patient, and informative. They explained everything clearly and helped me get the earliest appointment possible with Dr. Diaz. When I arrived at the clinic, everything was spotless and organized. They welcomed us warmly, already knew both my name and my dog’s name, which made us feel truly cared for. Dr. Diaz was exceptional. He took his time, explained everything thoroughly, performed all the necessary tests, reviewed the results with me in detail, and made sure I understood the treatment plan completely. We received the eye drops and instructions right away. The treatment worked beautifully — my dog recovered perfectly, regained her vision, and her eye healed wonderfully. At the follow-up appointment, I was honestly amazed by the results and by the level of care throughout the entire process. Wonderful experience in every aspect. Highly recommend Animal Eye Guys and Dr. Diaz to anyone needing specialized ophthalmology care for their pets.
