My dog Jubile was very sick and I took her to South Lake Animal Hospital. They took an X-ray of her and found a stone blocking her the size of large jelly bean.Blocking her urthea where she could not pass urine or poop. Her bladder was inlarged as well. They did emergency surgery on her for that problem as well as she was not spaded and was having issues with that as well. She is well and now and the IV flushed out her kidneys and they are now normal levels. They saved her life. She is very well now, eating, drinking walking around great. She can poop and pee. Thanks so much for the great care all of you gave to her.Diane Brabon

Two weeks ago our cat took I'll rather unexpectedly. We wanted him to be seen immediately. We called South Lake and they told us to come without hesitation. As we got there with our fur baby, the hospital was clean and warm. The staff members were kind and respectful. We didn't have to wait long as we were called in to examination room. Being emotional, I stayed in the waiting room as my wife went into the room with our boy Boots. Long story short, Boots was diagnosed with severe diabetes and other ailments; which are all fatal. Dr. Davis, Brie and John were gentle, empathetic and wonderful dealing with my wife and Boots. The staff in waiting room were the same with me. Well, Boots had to be euthanized and my wife and I were wrecks. The entire staff comforted us. We would like thank everyone there for making such a hard day more tolerable. If any pet owner needs services for their fur babies, I highly recommend South Lake Animal Hospital.

My fur babies have been going here for years. The staff are gentle and caring with your pets, as well as being courteous, informative and transparent with the cost of the procedures. Highly recommend.

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Rod since 2017 and have always been very extremely happy with our pets care from the entire staff. Since Dr Rod’s retirement we have recently had health concerns with our dog that were scary at first. Dr. Sheldon and Dr. Davis both saw our dog throughout the process of her healing and we have been so impressed with their care. Both doctors gave thorough exams, were upfront and honest with us about possibilities, and ultimately made us feel confident and comfortable with our choices in our dog’s treatment. We are so thankful to Dr Davis, Dr Sheldon, and the entire staff for helping our girl get better.

I brought my Pug in for here yearly appointment and found out our wonderful Dr Rodriguez is getting ready to retire and it’s now under new management. Dr. Davis is now the new owner and she is awesome as she is very knowledgeable and attentive. I recommend Southlake Animal Hospital to everyone, truly a trusted group of exceptional people.
