This place should be called worst vet. I had an appointment at 10:45am only to see the dogs who were already very high with anxiety because they were in a small room and hour later. I asked the front desk what was the hold up and they said the lady veterinarian forgot we were in the room. Then ones only able to give them their rabies shot which is not why I only made the appointment! I will not be coming to this meat market anymore and they went up in prices last minute for their allergy shot. I found a better Veterinarian called Palm spring veterinarian

⭐️ 1 Star – Very Disappointing Experience My boyfriend brought his dog here after a referral, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. His dog had ingested part of a toy months prior, but after throwing most of it up back then, he didn’t think it was related to her recent decline. At the visit, they took her to the back for X-rays and what they said would be blood work—without discussing any pricing upfront. He was only told the first visit was free. The vet later said the X-rays didn’t show anything significant and recommended taking her to a 24-hour emergency clinic for IV fluids, quoting $2,000–$3,000 for less than a day🤯. He chose to bring her home instead, where she began drinking water on her own. The next morning, she vomited again and passed more pieces of the toy. He never received a follow-up call about the blood work he was charged for. When he reached out, he was told no blood work had actually been done because they “assumed” the emergency clinic would handle it—yet they still charged him for it. He only received a refund after pointing it out. Overall, this felt very unprofessional and disorganized. The lack of communication, unexpected charges, and questionable referral left a bad impression. We would not recommend this clinic. UPDATE: SHE PASSED AWAY We ended up taking her to paws 2 help, and they quickly diagnosed that she had pyometra and needed emergency surgery. We were told had she been diagnosed a week back there was a better likelihood that she would made a full recovery... but unfortunately she passed away over night... shame on this place

While Dr. Armstrong himself is excellent—knowledgeable, caring, and truly attentive to both pets and their owners—unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the staff. My experiences with the support team have been consistently disappointing. Communication is poor, with different staff members providing conflicting and often inaccurate information, making it difficult to get clear or reliable answers. There is also a noticeable lack of follow-through; on two separate occasions when I brought my pet in for bathing and grooming, I was never notified when my pet was ready for pickup. Each time, I was met with excuses rather than accountability. Most concerning was the quality of the grooming service. The result was far below professional standards and appeared rushed and uneven, which was extremely disappointing. Dr. Armstrong is someone I would trust and return to for veterinary care. However, I cannot recommend the additional services offered by the practice until there is a meaningful improvement in staff professionalism, communication, and overall quality of service. I genuinely hope the practice addresses these concerns, as it has the potential to provide a much better overall experience.

Always have a great experience. They've helped me so much with all my pitbulls. The doctor gives great advice and tips on what I can and can't do with newborn pups. The staff is super friendly and helpful as well. I've been to so many other vets and pet hospitals and by far Best Vet has them beat. Their very affordable unlike other places I've been to that are over charging and the people are rude and the female doctors are a**holes. If you have a pet that needs help or just a check up I suggest you bring them to Best Vet you won't be sorry.

DO NOT COME HERE! Prior to what recently happened, we were already unhappy with their terrible service between the staff and the “doctor” . Each time we’ve brought our cats here for any issues is a waste of time, for example, one of the last times one of our cats was having issues with her eyes, lots of watering and discharge all of a sudden etc. so we take her in and no exaggeration, the doctor looks at her for two seconds and says “i don’t see anything” , “she’s fine”, “I’ll give her some eye drops”.. so we thought I was weird but ok we’ll try the eye drops , and to no surprise the issue was STILL happening, so we bring her in a SECOND time for the SAME thing . Just for the doctor to do the SAME thing and tell us “I don’t see anything she’s looks fine” , so once again this “doctor” prescribes some other eye drops AGAIN just for the issue to continue persisting… today we bring my cat in for some blood work, I called days ahead of time to explain the situation/whats going on, I mentioned we had to take her to the ER and her ALT* levels were extremely high so the other doctor at the ER advised we have her get more blood work in 48 hours for JUST the ALT levels to c whether they’ve dropped or r the same. He said we can either bring her back to them (the er) or our primary vet (this place) so I can and explain this and that we ONLY need the ALT levels NOT a full panel the receptionist says no problem gives me the pricing for that and sedation $115 ok cool (I thought), just to later realize they didn’t listen to anything or do their due diligence and makes notes etc and requested a FULL panel and charged us over $300! When I try speaking to someone , no one wants to take any accountability for THEIR mistake , they continue passing me along on the phone to other people giving me the run around , the doctor even hangs up on me ! Totally ridiculous and inexcusable!
