How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Arctic Equine Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We are new horse owners, and recently purchased two horses this year. Dr. Wilson and her team have been fantastic with helping us learn what we can do right for our horses - especially when one of them is difficult to get into the trailer, and they were able to make farm calls for x-rays. The front desk team is always friendly and upbeat when calling or when we come in, and we appreciate the calls to follow up on how the horses are doing after any procedures they have. When we had GI Issues prior to castration with our colt, the team was great at communicating the plan, estimated cost, and the goals to meet prior to castration to help us feel confident as we had never been through a horse castration before. We are very grateful for Arctic Equine and the support they provided us as new horse owners, and for our two horses to get them to their best selves.

A great local stop that is family owned and operated! Great friendly people that will sit and chat about any of your local bird needs! From start up to the seasoned bird farm, they're great! A great place to get farm fresh eggs from local farmers that gives straight to that particular farmer. Stop on in and see them 🥰🥚🦃🐔🐓🐣🐤🐥🦆🦢🦚 It is chick ordering time at Chickapalooza and it is so much fun to stop in and see the little fluffies as they await their new coops. GREAT one stop shop for all your poultry growing needs.

Love love love this place... they had the healthiest chicks. So cute prices aren't bad at all. Also, it's nice to be able to just go pick some birds up and everything they need at once!
