We have been paying into this for three years and most times we make a claim it is declined.

We have been paying into this for three years and most times we make a claim it is declined. While I understand some of the rationale, when we had to undertake exploratory activities to ascertain the nature of a problem, we were told that the expense did not qualify. These expenses are considerable at times and makes me wonder why I’m paying what I do monthly. This premium also just went up and I have had very little benefit.

Trupanion is the best!

It was my first experience ever using pet insurance and you made it super easy. I was told by the receptionist that I would more than likely have to pay up front because it was my first time. With the stress of getting Gypsy seen to I forgot my policy number home, but all it took was a simple phone call and everything was looked after immediately! Thank you! I will highly recommend you to any and everyone!

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
