I am very unhappy with the new rate which increased by almost 20% without having had any accidents and driven much less. Even after reaching out to Sonnet and discussing, there was no willingness to adjust this. I am now searching for other insurance options.

When I retired, I stopped commuting to work , and the km's driven by me dropped from 35,000 to 5,000. My former insurance company always stated that this additional km's driven was costing me over $250.00 per year. But when I informed them of the drastic drop in km's driven, they only reduced my monthly cost by $6. I the decided to shop around and found that Sonnet reduced my cost by 40%, AND I tailored my coverage to be better than the coverage I had at my former insurer.

I like the insurance company but as a senior it would be much better if you could call in and get a person that could do the changes for you. Not everyone is computer literate as younger people are. I have called in and was told that I have to do any changes on my own on a computer. The person wouldn’t do it for me even when I explained I didn’t understand how to do it.
