This is a ridiculous sort of thing…Don't bother unless you have an American Express gold card

This is a ridiculous sort of thing where basically we are six of one half a dozen of another no worries if you have a vet visit and your pet is indeed ill you will not be reimbursed for the visit you're truly if you have let me rephrase that don't have the money on your credit card for the vet bill this whole thing is a scam and itit's not going to work I know there's lots of reviews out there they think they're the greatest thing ever but you know what they are difficult to get a hold of and they don't reimburse you and after I appeal this case and my cat died the day after the vet does it which I could have built them for the final fees I agreed to wave the final fees that were $55 but they wouldn't cover the initial visit for $49 I personally think the pet insurance is a total rip off I think vets are rip off because they know you love your pet and I think they're commercials should be off TV the air until they get investigated or what not

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
