my experience with a puppy fracture

I have been living in the USA for 1 year. A couple of months ago I got a York puppy. Having learned the prices for veterinary services, I knew for sure that I needed insurance. After all, a puppy, and such a tiny one at that, is always an adventure. I am looking for different plans and I liked Pumpkin. I was calm about the insurance. And then 2 weeks ago, my puppy broke his finger on a walk. One appointment with an x-ray cost me $1,300. 90% was covered by the insurance. Everything was very fast, and I received the money the next morning. Insure your furry ones! Take care of your nerves and their health!

Outstanding Service!

Thank you for providing a service that allowed me to financially care for my cat's health. When he got sick, my pet insurance gave me the confidence I needed to seek out veterinary care. Today, my kitty, Loki, is recovering nicely, and had I not had Pumpkin pet insurance, I am not sure I would have had such a positive outcome. Additionally, I need to add that the turnaround time for financial reimbursements is incredible. I would submit the claims, and literally within minutes (5-7 minutes), the reimbursed money was in my checking account. It was stunning! Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
