Best customer service
Hands down the winner isssssss your outstanding customer service and support! Owners are already stressed out enough over their furry family members without the added stress of filing claims. We purchase insurance in hopes that we never have to use it. Your customer service is always so helpful in listening, empathy, and understanding!

Pumpkin makes submitting claims simple, and reimbursements are deposited directly into my bank account. The whole process has been much easier than with my previous pet insurance company.

I rarely write reviews, but this company truly deserves one. My experience has been nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I signed up, the process was simple, clear, and very well organized. Everything is designed to make things easy for pet owners who just want the best care for their animals.
What impressed me the most is how smooth and fast the claims process is. Submitting a claim is straightforward, and approvals and reimbursements come much quicker than expected. It really gives peace of mind knowing that when your pet needs medical care, you don’t have to stress about complicated paperwork or long waiting times.
The customer service is also excellent. The support team is friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful. They take the time to explain things clearly and make sure you feel supported throughout the process.
Another thing I appreciate is the transparency and reliability. The coverage options are well explained, there are no confusing surprises, and everything works exactly as promised. That level of trust is very important when it comes to protecting the health of your pet.
Overall, this has been one of the best service experiences I’ve had. If you care about your pet and want a company that is efficient, trustworthy, and easy to work with, this is definitely the right choice. I highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for reliable pet insurance.
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
