Our first pet insurance

My wife and I decided to get pet insurance for the first time after having 3 dogs that were healthy over 40 years. We called your company and were welcomed by a wonderful young lady by the name of Stephanie Toppel in Chicago. She was very knowledgeable and welcomed us with open arms. She explained all of the options that we’re available and had all the answers to my various questions. She made it a very easy process to purchase your insurance. Without a doubt…

My experience was very positive. I was explained all of the policies so I was able to make a decision based on what our needs are. Our person we had was very helpful and I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for insurance for their dog.

Claims are done quickly and…

Claims are done quickly and efficiently. I just thought more could be claimed, such as charges for a wellness check visit and meds.

Monthly Cost

Monthly rates start at $10 for Accident only and $16 for Accident & Illness coverage. Those rates vary based on species, age, breed as well as your location.

Coverage

We cover based on the actual vet bill and have options for 90%, 80% or 70% reimbursement.

Payout Limits

We offer limits of $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000 and an unlimited plan.  There are no lifetime limits with any option you choose.

Deductible

Choose a deductible that works best for you and your family, we offer $100, $250 and $500 options.

Age Limits

We have no age limits, but your pet will need to be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

For our accident & illness plans (essential & ultimate), we have a 14-day waiting period. Our accident-only policy only has a 5-day waiting period. There is no waiting period for wellness coverage.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered by our policies. Optional Wellness Details We have two preventive/wellness plan options. Our basic option costs $9.95/month* and our Prime option costs $24.95/month*. These cover things like wellness exams, dental cleanings, or flea/heartworm prevention. Reimbursement for these is based on a set maximum annual amount. *Correct Jan. 2019
