Very fast turnaround on claims

Very fast turnaround on claims, very easy upload process, clear explanation of benefits, and good reimbursement amount! We've had Pets Best for almost a year and have been very happy with them.

Thank You from my whole heart

I cannot begin to say how much this policy gives me peace of mind. It is hard enough to have you baby sick in the hospital without having to worry about how you will pay for it. I was recently laid off in December and the stress of having a sick pet on top of it was terrible. Thank you to your staff for always taking care if things smoothly and always putting your customers and their babies wellbeing first!

Best insurance for your pet!

This company has went above and beyond my expectations when covering our unexpected vet visit with our puppy who recently had new onset of seizures. The claims process was quick and easy and they covered almost all of the bill without question or issue. Will keep this insurance for life and recommend to anyone else shopping for it.

Disappointed and unsure why I pay so much

My first two vet visits were covered almost 100%. When I took my girl for a wellness check for her 2nd birthday they wouldn't even cover her rabies vaccine or distemper. $415 bill and they paid $117. Why am I paying a premium if suddenly I can "cap" on necessary vaccines and care for a healthy dog? Even in the fine print I didn't see that. Disappointed in my pet insurance choice now when I expected the vaccines and heartworm care and tests to be covered.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
