Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

INITIALLY, I WAS DOUBTFUL BUYING THIS INS FOR MY 2 DOGS,GEORGIE & SHEA. LAST TIME I SIGNED UP FOR PET INS WITH ANOTHER INS.COMPANY I WAS VERY UNHAPPY WITH. I'M VERY HAPPY TO SAY THAT PETBEST IS A QUALITY PET INS. COMPANY IN MANY WAYS.I'M ALWAYS SURE I'LL GET PAID CORRECTLY. NEVER A DOUBT. IF I QUESTION THEM AS TO A FEE OR A DEDUCTION I'M ALWAYS THE ONE THAT'S INCORRECT. I RECENTLY LOST (6/13/12) MY 13 YEAR OLD COCKER GIRL SHEA PESTBEST,IMMEDIATELY SENT US THE KINDESS MOST THOUGHTFUL CONDOLENCES. I HAVE HAD ONLY VERY GOOD EXPERIENCES WITH PETBEST FROM THE BEGINNING.

Ive had Pets Best for my young Maltese. He has been stricken with so many illnesses and ailments this past year that I was so worried I would lose him. Our vet was finally able to pinpoint the source of most of his problems, Hypothyroidism. He also has back problems. He was put on meds and now after a few months is doing so much better! He is almost back to his playful Maltese self! I spent alot of money on tests, bloodwork, meds, X-Rays and visits! I would do anything to save my pet but wouldnt have been able to afford it without the coverage provided to us by Pets Best! All of my claims have been approved, and yes Ive paid my co-pays, and deductibles ..but always get a portion of the claim back. That helps me so much! This is the first time Ive had insurance on any of my dogs and he is the first to have many issues. Im always worried a claim wont be approved ...but they have all been so far. My premium has increased for the first time on this year's renewal but only went up a small amount. Nothing drastic. I hope my dog gets better so he can simply enjoy his doggie life. He will require meds for the rest of his life but thanks to Pets Best he will have a good quality of life because of the safety of insurance in case anything else comes up. THANK YOU to Pets Best! I would highly recommend them to anyone with pets!

My older dog was 10 when I realized I wanted to have her covered. Pets Beat was the only insurance company I could find that was willing to insure her. The rate was fairly reasonable and the coverage was fair. The fact that she could now be covered was a load off my mind. After, they always processed and paid claims promptly. Thanks Pets Best!

The response time on claims is very quick: I sometimes hear back within 24 hours, and I always receive the payment within two weeks. I've also contacted customer service a few times and always have great interactions with the representatives. The first time I used the policy was when my dog was attacked and needed extensive surgery on his leg. Pets Best paid out the full amount allowed under my policy, which was incredibly helpful. Since then, I have used the policy for smaller claims. Pets Best has always paid the claims that I submitted, even paying more than I expected one time by lumping one claim with a previous one, meaning the deductible was already met.
