Filing claim took less than 5 minutes
First time claim, very satisfied with the process and decision. To file the claim took less than 5 minutes. The amount went towards my deductible.

Do not use
Worst company ever. I tried to file a claim and they back tracked on everything. I had additional acl coverage added and was told I am all set and was covered now they wont do anything about it.

They did not pay out on an injury, because maybe old age played a role.
When my 7 year old dog jumped off a high bed in the spare bedroom, she injured herself. The vet said it maybe, note maybe, a sign of disc generation. No x-rays were taken, just a maybe. But because maybe the injury was due to disc generation, Pets Best refused to pay out as maybe she would not have injured herself if there was maybe no disc generation. Of course, maybe there is no disc generation and she just jumped off wrong, but they'd rather go with the, maybe the injury would rather go with the option that saves them from paying out. Of course dogs get more frail as they get older, and will get injured easier, it does not make it any less an injury. So be sure to only insure young animals, of course, if they are too young, maybe they wouldn't have gotten hurt if there bones were stronger. You never know.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.

$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
