Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

Our pet needed quite a few days in the pet hospital for pneumonia and ingestion of a foreign body (plastic). Pets Best came through for us and reimbursed the full 80% after our deductible. The customer service was excellent. I especially want to thank their representative Paul for his assistance and thorough follow up. He kept us updated and ensured the claim moved along. Thank you! They are “the Best”!

I recently submitted 2 claims and both were denied stating info from vet not received. I contacted Pets Best by chat (good luck getting through on phone!) and they explained that there was no prior history on my doggie. This is because she was newly adopted. Rep resubmitted claims with that info and both were quickly approved! Pretty easy overall!

So far we are very happy with this insurance. When we called in to ask questions the representative was so nice and extremely calm and helpful. The process to submit a claim is so easy. 😊 thank you for your help

My dog was in the hospital for 3 nights. I uploaded my $3,000 bill and got a check for $2,646 in less than a month. It was all done online seamless. Thank you Pets Best !!!!

Beyond Horrible Pet Insurance! If zero stars was an option I would give them zero stars! They don't even deserve one star. Total rip off, in my book complete thieves! They refused to pay for my claim because they state that a symptom which hadn't had a diagnosis because no vet had come up with one was considered pre-existing. So basically if the dog sneezes and you take them to a vet then later do a claim for that visit they refuse to pay for the claim stating to me that the symptom is pre-existing! Also takes them close to 45 minutes to get a rep on the phone. They also made me send them a bunch of vet notes called SOAP to be denied later because in my case the vet was still trying to figure out what was wrong with my dog and why she was getting diarrhea. It honestly seemed from the many request for the same notes and x-rays that they were digging to try and find an excuse not to pay for the claim. Stay far, far, away from this company get Nationwide pet insurance instead at least they pay the claims and not make you feel like if you're trying to take advantage of them. Yeah the representative I spoke with made me feel like if I was trying to rip them off! I have never been so ill treated by a company like this one. Hope this helps someone never pay them one red cent they are truly the definition of horrendous service! The reply from the insurance company below is a complete lie! No where on the medical notes from the vet does it say that she had a pre existing condition let me know if I should send screen shots of these notes which they already have but won’t show anyone a copy of course! Also, take note how they are not even offering to contact me to fix this situation if they were being honest then contact me and tell me where the hell it says that the condition of my dog was pre existing! Train your customer service better! Trust me everyone don’t let this company rip you off! Acting all innocent almost a month or more later wow just wow!
