I think anyone who has a pet should have nationwide pet insurance

My eight-month-old puppy, Milo ate 10 ears of corn including the cob off of the counter this past weekend. Last week he was bit by another dog leg I'm so grateful for the whole pet insurance that we have.

This product is very competitive with great coverage

Both of my pups shared a tube of ointment. My vet took the necessary steps to detox my pups. This was not cheap. After the deductible was covered Nationwide paid the balance of the claim. Nationwide's customer service is #1. I have other Nationwide products as well and I have been very happy with the customer service I have received.

Lifesaving coverage

One of our kitties, Felix, was diagnosed with pyothorax (pus in the body cavity from a cat bite). He was extremely sick and he was in the ER/ICU/trauma unit for 5 days. Having Nationwide insurance was a lifesaver. Our out of pocket costs were minimal once we were reimbursed. Reimbursement usually takes about 4 weeks. Having health insurance on your beloved pet makes it an easy decision to go forward with expensive, life saving procedures, knowing that they are covered. 5 stars for the Nationwide company and their pet insurance! Felix is completely recovered and happy and healthy now.

Good Coverage

My Callie had a cancerous tumor removed in November. After deductible, 90% was reimbursed to me. I have read some bad reviews and I would like to say...It did take a little longer than the 30 day review but I was very pleased with the outcome and the insurance product so far. I have three dogs on the plan and have only been insured for 7 months. I have recommended and will continue to recommend this Insurance product to all my friends.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
