Such a comfort having this Insurance

My 1 year old Konerko was throwing up, had diarrhea and was lethargic and not acting like his usual kitten self. Took him immediately to the vet, as kittens "eat" everything in site, he had x-rays, all good, he was dehydrated and was given medication for the throwing up. He is doing great and it's such a relief to know I have Nationwide Insurance when it comes to situations like this. Kittens will be kittens and you never know!

Never knew how much I would appreciate having pet insurance!

Our 2 1/2 year old golden retriever LOVES to retrieve. She is very intense when retrieving; which usually isn't a bad thing. Until one evening she was so intense that she cut her foot on our wooden deck pushing off to retrieve her dummy. Unfortunately, she spent roughly 8-10 days in the hospital, had stitches 2 separate occasions, and medication to prevent infection. Because we had Nationwide Insurance, 90% of our cost was reimbursed in a very timely manner. We LOVE our friends at Nationwide!!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
