Great Insurance
I am so thankful we took out NationWide when Maggie was a pup. Mini Schnauzers can be prone to different health issues and our Maggie has certainly had her share. The pet insurance has make it possible to afford many visits and great care for our girl. Vet care can be expensive and having insurance has certainly made it easier to get the right tests done and if necessary to make better decisions for her care. Highly recommend
I have recommended this company to several of my pet-owner friends. The claims are paid very quickly and with a minimum of fuss. I am extremely pleased with the coverage and appreciate the ability to add on coverage to apply to routine costs. Very affordable

Easy, Fast Claims Pay, and Good Coverage!
I have been with Nationwide Pet Insurance for about two years now. I have two dogs: a young, accident-prone Mini Aussie and an old Daschund mix. Between the two of them, they are always going to the vet. Nationwide has never denied me coverage for ANYTHING and has always covered more than I expect them to; they are truly a life-saver. The cost of insurance is also very reasonable--granted, I do get a discount through my employer. The process for being paid claims is very easy--they either mail you a check or you can accept payment electronically through a service provided by Chase. Both are easy and fast. I don't think I've ever waited more than 2 weeks to be paid, and I believe the claim I waited longest on was for a surgery. I recommend Nationwide to all of my friends who are pet parents.

Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.

Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
