Great insurance, worth every penny!

Nationwide really helped me out! My puppy ended up with a severe ear infection not long after getting him, it required IV and sedation so they could get pus pockets by his ear drum. Poor lil guy! I already had insurance on him, just in case, and boy I’m glad I did, I knew Cockers were prone to ear infections. They reimbursed me, without any troubles!

I love pet insurance with Nationwide

I was skeptical at first!! Our vet recommended insurance to us and said it was a good idea to do some research. I did the research, chose Nationwide, took the max coverage, and have regretted absolutely none of those decisions!!!

Nationwide is on my pet's side!!

I am pleased with my coverage,sometimes a little slow on reimbursement,but always come through! If it wasnt for this insurance,I couldnt afford the finest care for my dogs!

Nationwide is a great pet health insurance company!

My dog, Roscoe, has a wound at the base of his tail that was treated at the vet. Nationwide was fantastic with a quick reimbursement of the expense!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
