Auto claim response?
I've Pet Insurance for 20 years, 5 dogs.
I submitted a claim Jan7th and called Jan 29th as I had not heard from this insurance. When I called I heard the claim had been denied. I submitted the usual invoices. I was asked to re-submit which I did. Next day I receive an email saying I did not submit the invoices. I called again and was informed that all the paperwork was correct and I didn't need to be concerned.
I spoke with "Megan" today at 8:34am, I assume there is a disconnect in communication and auto emails are sent. I travel a great deal out of the country and don't always have wifi access.
My dogs are now going to Heaven do to their ages and my vet bills are about 20K a year now, two don't have insurance. So, I need to have solid communication. I've had decent response over the years, however this lack of communication has been unclear.

Claim processing
I submitted 3 claims; one was for script refills, one for a check regarding her eyelid and the third for the surgery. I submitted each claim at separate times over a period of 3-4 weeks. There was a delay in receiving reimbursement for the first claim, but all 3 payments were released that the same time and the last which was the largest amount, was processed the quickest.

Excellent Coverage, reduces so much financial burden!
This pet insurance is the best around. I highly recommend it. I have had other insurances before and none of them compare to the coverage that you receive on this policy. Thank you Nationwide!

Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
