I love Nationwide!!
Easy to use online claims . receive Direct deposits on claims.
I have nationwide for 4 years and never had an issue with any of my dogs claims. The only drawback is it does take about 30 days to get your money from Nationwide, wish this process was quicker.

Nationwide insurance eases the pain of expensive vet bills.
Nationwide insurance has given us peace of mind , knowing our beloved family member has such wonderful coverage and the best vet. We’re getting another puppy soon and will get this coverage ,too.

Planning to switch insurances
The insurance sold is misleading. On the webpage where you buy the insurance, it describes a bunch of things that it covers, but there is a lot of small print and they don't end up covering a wide percentage of the total bill. For example, it said it would cover vaccines, but then it only covered the first $25 of vaccines that my pet got in a year. I am waiting to get out of this plan so I can switch to another company.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
