Pending - Relief
We lost our 6 year old baby eight months ago. Having Nationwide has been a relief. We love our pups! They are part of our family. Having to pay full price is almost impossible. I’m grateful to have this as a means to make payments as well as cut costs for medical treatment. We now have our 7 month old pups that require a lot of attention and veterinary assistance with vaccinations and check ups. Thank you Nationwide.

Timing could be better
Timing of claims could be better. Understandably members are notified of the 30 day wait, however, I work at a vet and have dealt win other insurances and various other ones have returns in ~48 hours

Perfect
Nationwide has been so helpful. Fiji is my first dog, he's one now and he's a mixed bulldog. We have come across many health issues throughout the last year and things always happen, as for any dog! Nationwide has been efficient with reviewing our claims and available for help as needed. I forgot to update my new card information when my old one expired and they were happy to accept my payment after i received a notification letter in the mail. They are understanding and affordable! Thank you Nationwide for being flexible and making this journey a less stressful one. Highly recommend for all pet owners!!!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.

Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
