Slow paying claims
Easy to file a claim and timely notification of receipt of claim. Slow paying. I am getting this review request about how Baxter is feeling and have not received any reimbursement from a claim associated with his not feeling well.

Customer service abilities can be better
Nationwide is a pretty good insurance company and it’s super important to have one for your furbaby. My only complaint is about their customer service. I was on the phone with a representative and I was trying to clarify the result of the tests my kitten had to do. I made a mistake and submitted the claim form before I got the results, as it was the first time I ever submitted a claim. This representative gave so much attitude and left me wishing I never called to ask for help. Customer service is so important, ONE representative can ruin how the customer feels. Otherwise, nationwide is pretty good and they do help cover a lot of the expenses.
