Waste of Money
This is a lot of my fault. It's hard when you're rescuing puppies last minute and they need to see the vet asap. I didn't have time to wait 14 days for the underwriting process and $800 later, Nationwide was not on my side. Then they proceeded to tell me their worms were a "preexisting condition" which is false, they got worms because their previous owner left them in the field to eat poop and mud (didn't even submit this, the customer care individual just wanted to inform me).
Make sure you get this way in advance before you start considering pet insurance. At this point, I don't need it and why would I pay $120/per pet if I won't even reach the $250 deductible (per pet) this year. I'll just use another insurance provider when it's time to renew their shots.
Gave it a shot and wasted my money. blah
