Happy pet. Happy human.
Our pup had a treat get stuck in his esophagus, and had to go to the ER. The claims process was painless and the reimbursement came quickly.

The only Pet Insurance to have!
I am so impressed with Nationwide Pet Insurance. We have now been with with Nationwide for a year. They are very responsive with claims and questions. Even when my credit card was stolen and the payment didn't go through, they reached out by email and snail mail to alert me. I had forgotten to update my credit card with them, and most agencies would have cancelled the policy immediately. However I was able to get back as soon as they alerted me with an update without a break in coverage. This is wonderfull customer service.

This Insurance is a Must Have!
I am so thankful that I've had this insurance on my dog since she was 8 weeks old. The most simpliest things as a teeth cleaning was worth my whole premium for the year. It is a must have if you are taking correct care of your pet.

I would never own another pet without pet insurance from Nationwide!
We have had Nationwide (previously VIP) pet insurance on two dogs now for over twenty years. Coverage allows us to make easier decisions when it comes to providing appropriate medical care to a very ill "family member." Nationwide has seen our current dog through endocarditis and lymphoma. She is still alive, and doing well, because we were able to afford quality veterinary medical care for her. Thank you Nationwide!
