Seamless process and amazing customer service!

Our puppy has had a few issues in the first couple months of owning her and Nationwide has been so great! The claim upload process is so easy and the communication is amazing. I hear from them so fast and am so happy with our pet insurance.

Nothing but the best for my Fur Baby

My cat was hospitalized 3 times in 2 months and each time I was reimbursed so quickly. What a relief to be able to tell the vet what ever you have to do, knowing it will be covered.

If you have a pet you need pet insurance

I have three dogs and they are all covered by Nationwide Pet Insurance, besides reimbursement for annual preventatives and check-ups I have the piece of mind that if something catastrophic happens my decision is based on what is best for my furry babies and not what is affordable. Nationwide Pet Insurance makes it extremely easy to file a claim, check on the status of claims and refunds can be directly deposited back into your account. The entire claims process is quick and easy with explanations stated clearly.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
