Our first experience with pet insurance
This was our first real experience with pet insurance. We have always rescued Miniature Schnauzers. This time we picked out a Terrier Mix. The poor thing was sick with 3 different parasites when we got him. We took care of that but then almost immediately we found out he had a liver disease. He has been diagnosed with liver shunts. Unfortunately they turned out to be shunts inside of his liver so that took surgery off the table. We had to have a biopsy done which unfortunately turned out that he has severe liver disease that we can only try to control with medication. His life will be cut very short but at least we will not have to worry about the thousands of dollars it has cost so far to diagnose his problem. We can spend all of our time enjoying what time we do have with our wonderful Freddie. Thank you MetLife!!!

Every interaction from phone calls to claim submissions has been seamless. The customer service agents have all been extremely helpful and professional. Getting this policy for my pet was one of the best decisions I could have made
