MetLife | Pet Insurance Review

My 9-mo kitten needed emergency surgery because he secretly has been eating things he shouldn’t (ex hair ties, yarn, thread), and his stomach was blocked. Of course, I’d have paid anything, but knowing I had pet insurance made the vet bills easier to face. About 10 days post-surgery, I submitted my claim, and a week later, I received a deposit that covered 90% of the charges, fully in line with my policy. Thank you, MetLife!

It’s always quick and easy you get your funds with 3 business days

My first 2 claims were denied erroneously and later corrected. If I submit more than one claim at a time, they are grouped into one claim making it difficult for me to track the claims. I’ve had to make multiple calls to customer service for one thing or another.
