Lemonade is a new kind of pet insurance company that uses artificial intelligence and behavioral economics to replace brokers and bureaucracy with bots and machine learning.  They aim for zero paperwork and instant everything, and are obsessed with social good, delighting customers, and pets.

Big trip off, don't pay, make up excuses

I submitted a simple claim related to my lab having an ear infection. Part of the procedure involved cleaning the blood out of his ears. It was a very bad infection . They claimed cleaning of ears was not covered ($170ish total) and denied claim. I bitched and they said give more info. They already contacted doc and knew EXACTLY what was done, which is what I submitted. These people are thieves and I will be filing complaints with Florida/Alabama/commiefornia authorities . DO NOT USE THESE SCUMBAGS.

horrible experiance

Their AI claims process sets you up for failure, it took them 3 weeks to deny a claim for a first office visit for my cat. waste of time and money. I hate them.

Sour Lemonade

I would not recommend Lemonade insurance. In my estimation they have made everything very difficult in terms of accepting basic claims. Their customer service is good if you like rejection. I feel like I wasted my money with this insurance company.

HORRIBLE DO NOT USE LEMONADE PET INSURANCE

Lemonade finds any reason NOT to cover a claim. My dog had ACL surgery on her right leg in August, we then got pet insurance because we didn't want anything like that to happen again. In March she tore her left ACL so now they won't cover it because they consider it a pre existing illness, lol. Thats like telling me becauae you have something wrong with your right arm then your left arm is going to go oyt too. 🤣🤣 What a SCAM!! DO not get pet insurance from them. Save your money.
