I would absolutely recommend the ASPCA…

I would absolutely recommend the ASPCA health insurance to others. Only a short time after rescuing a puppy, she landed the wrong way while playing and fractured her tibia. Of course this happened after my vet was closed in the evening hours and this required an ER visit to an animal hospital. Everyone I spoke to at ASPCA were kind, supportive, and helped me process everything I needed to do. I never once had to speak to an automated voice, it was always a first hand experience speaking to a representative.

I would not be without this insurance.

This insurance has been a God send. Our. Dog had a torn acl and this is a very expensive operation. We had to have our dog operated on because we didn’t want him to be crippled. I do not regret buying pet insurance grow ASPCA. Their app has made it totally easy to make a claim.

Good Experience with Insurance

Our experience has been good with quick responses to our claims. We wish the return was a bit higher than we receive. We understand that this happens on higher claims such as surgeries and the like. Our claims have been mainly office visits for minor illnesses. All and all we feel the insurance is worth having.

Amazing

buying pet insurance through ASPCA was the best decision I ever made. It saved me $2,000 when my cat go into some poisonous flowers and had to be treated at the emergency vet. Reimbursement was so easy and fast. Life saver!!!

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee. Accident-Only coverage available.
