How to Save on Veterinary Costs at VEG ER for Pets
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Eisemann, Eddy (triage nurse/tech) and Jade’s primary nurse, Sarah, were all fantastic. Dr Eisemann was very helpful, kept us updated on testing/delays, communicated with my husband and i thoroughly and even took the time to update Jade’s primary Doctor. Eddy was awesome.. he is an asset to your establishment.. very friendly, and constantly reassured us that Jade was in good hands. We saw him running around busily, helping everyone and making sure all the tests were done quickly. Sarah, Jade’s primary nurse was just as wonderful! She is a REAL cat lover. She was calm, helpful, kept us updated and even texted us photos of Jade for progress updates. Overall, this was the best pet ER we have been to and you can really tell that the staff love the animals they work with. I can’t thank you all enough for taking care of the little one that i love so dearly. She is back home, very happy, eating everything in sight, and bossing everyone around 😺

I can't thank the team at VEG ER for pets enough for the outstanding care they gave my cat, Oliver. Dr. Marilyn Prieto did an incredible job! A very special thanks to Caroline, Oliver's assigned nurse, who was remarkably sweet and patient with him, as well as assistants Haley and Jazmin for their great support. Also, Brittney welcomed us with such professionalism and courtesy from the start. Knowing Oliver was in such gentle, capable hands gave me total peace of mind. Highly recommended!

I brought my dog, Duke, to VEG Pembroke Pines with a stomach bug, and from the moment we arrived, we received such a warm welcome. We were brought into the open treatment area, and Duke never seemed stressed or scared. The doctor came over to ask me a few questions and was incredibly kind and gentle with him. Being able to stay with Duke and see the entire treatment made such a difference. This was the first time I’ve ever felt truly peaceful and safe at an emergency vet. Thank you so much to everyone at VEG for taking such wonderful care of Duke and treating him so quickly. We left with Duke already feeling so much better. I’m incredibly grateful!

My dog was bit by ants and had a pretty bad allergic reaction and had hives throughout his body. My vet recommended Veg ER for pets and I am so glad we went there. The team was so welcoming and treated my Dog quickly and he is feeling better now. The doctor and vet techs were very sweet. They offered us water, coffee, and even a blanket for our dog. I like that we were able to stay with our dog while he was checked out. Thanks again Dr Amanda and team!

I’ve had a blast at VEG (Pembroke Pines) an one hour ago . I’m a pet nanny so we took their sweet and senior dog to there. This morning he started with diarrhea and later with vomit. VEG has a great environment area and such a great staff. This senior dog was assisted as soon as we’ve arrived there; between vet doctor and vet techs he wasn’t in hold . They always checked on him and caring on him Love this place , thx God VEG is here
