How to Save on Veterinary Costs at South Federal Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

I’ve been bringing both of my babies to SFAH for years and they’ve always been thorough, kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They’ve taken care of my babies on countless occasions and it’s really great to have them in the neighborhood. I have to make a special note to say how thankful I am to Dr. Vega and especially Jenna during the end of life care they gave to me and my baby Mo who has been a longstanding patient at South Federal, I couldn’t have done it without them. Thank you to everyone there who has been such a special part of my, Cinnamon, and Mo’s lives.

We took our dog Smokey here for the first time and he had the best experience, they were super good with him and patient to get all his stuff done and got all our questions answered without rushing or anything like that.

I’ve been going to South Federal Animal hospital since I moved to Florida 6 years ago. They have the best Drs that are caring and thorough and compassionate. They care for my pet just like family. Dr Stelljis & Dr Verne are wonderful! The assistants Reilly & Raul and the front desk Jules are so helpful and caring too. I would never think of taking my pet to a different hospital.

SFAH took incredible care of my dog Tucker. Riley and Katelyn are phenomenal! I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving Tucker in such great hands to recover after surgery. And a big thank you to Dr. Stelljes for always being there when we need her! Their reassurance and genuine care made this stressful time so much easier, wouldn’t ever go anywhere else!

I have been going to South Federal for a few years now with my pit terrier mix Rosco and Great Dane Peaches. They have been seen by most of the doctors / vet techs and have never had a bad experience. One of my dogs is a little more difficult to handle and I greatly appreciate how amazing they handle him and make sure the waiting area is clear of other animals before I bring him in. Thank you Dr. Vega and Vet Technician Raul for being my kind to Rosco during his last annual visit! Peaches used to be afraid of going to a vets office till we started coming here.
