The best vet! I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences with Furry Friends for both of my pups, from when they were little puppies to now. Everyone is so friendly and always goes out of their way to make both you and your dogs feel special while providing exceptional care. The team is knowledgeable, professional, and truly treats every pet like family. They even greet my boys with toys and plenty of treats, which always makes their visits so much more enjoyable. We absolutely love Furry Friends! Dr. Volkers and the entire staff are so kind, patient and understanding. They took the time to explain everything and offered comfort without rushing me and treated both my cats Benny and Prosecco with genuine care. On top of that, I received a card at home after the passing of my cat, Benny signed by the staff along with a paw print of my cat. Losing my cat was heartbreaking but I felt supported every step of the way. I couldn’t have asked for a better clinic. Thank you guys for everything!!! I truly appreciate you.

My cat Molly and I would like to say thank you for taking such good care of Molly. I was nervous taking her to her first visit and didn’t know what to expect. I was amazed at the patience and adoration they showed Molly. Dr. Maedel got right on the floor and won Molly over. I feel like my cat is a celebrity when I go there. Shout out to Nicole and KAYLA, You ladies rock and Molly loves you!

Absolutely the best in Pinellas county/ Florida. I have been taking all my babies to Furry Friends for a few years and they are absolutely Incredible! Dr Maedel and Dr Volkers are so kind, caring and honest and truly go above and beyond to help and give the best care! All of the employees especially Nicole are so sweet and always welcoming and remember me and my beagles. Thank you for all you do!

There is not a better Vet practice that has ever cared for our dogs. The owner, Dr. Maedel, is the best in the business. She not only cares about her patients but also about the owners as well. We’ve been going to Furry Friends since they opened the practice. On days when Dr Maedel is not in she has like minded Vets caring for her patients. We had to bring our 9 year old pup in yesterday and met Dr Volker who was just as kind and caring. The Vet Tech, Alex, who was new to us, seems to have the same philosophy as the rest of the current staff which seems to be promote calmness and give the best care possible. The turnover in this practice is nonexistent and I think that is a testament to the way Dr Maedel and her husband, Andrew, run their practice. We are all lucky to have this practice in Pinellas County.
