How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Capitol Hill Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I love the animal clinic the people are. Very nice. Your dog comes in one way and they come out another way. So happy!!!

I previously posted a good review here but after my last appointment I had to change it. The vet was very rude and basically told me my dog needs to be better trained since I am having a hard time getting ear drops in her ear. Yet it took 3 of them to hold her down and get the drops in and he somehow expects me to do it on my own. My dog is well behaved but flushing water in her ears is not pleasant and of course she is going to give some resistance, I mean I would too. She was adopted a few months ago from the shelter and is fully vaccinated yet his staff continues to call asking me to come in and get more vaccinations. The staffing actually really good in my opinion, it's the actual vet who is super rude and clearly just after money.

The dude actors and staff are so nice and take wonderful care of the animals. I've been bouncing between vets trying to find the best care near home for one chronic sick cat and 2 healthy ones including a kitten. This has been the best care by far!

Excellent care; Dr. Dan Murphy is experienced and thorough. His diagnosis of a tumor on my dog’s leg was spot on and his surgery to remove the tumor was very successful and I’m sure prolonged her life. I have always found the people there very helpful and accommodating.

Reliable neighborhood veterinarian for your fur babies. Our cats have mixed reactions coming here but the staff always handle them with care and attention. Reliable service for both routine checkups or unexpected visits. We feel cared for here.
